Project Description
Students explore theoretical foundations of environmental issues, sustainability, policy, ethics and ecological systems to develop a deep understanding of environmental challenges and solutions at local, national and global levels. The course covers key topics such as environmental systems thinking, ecological principles, environmental ethics and philosophy, environmental policy and governance, sustainability science, environmental justice and equity, climate change and adaptation, environmental economics, risk assessment and management, global environmental issues, interdisciplinary
approaches.
Teaching Method
Lecture with provision of specialised literature and lecture notes.
Self-study of own notes and documents provided.
