Professional competence
  • understand the concept of smart contracts and implement a simple ERC20 token at a basic level.
  • understand the principles of token economics and apply them to simple crypto-based business and investment cases.
  • describe different types of assets that can be tokenized and explain the underlying tokenization process.

  • analyse and evaluate crypto exchanges with respect to their business models, functionalities, and risk profiles.
  • apply basic investment approaches in different areas of crypto finance.
  • structure and assess developments in the FinTech landscape, including DeFi applications.

  • work effectively in groups to analyse crypto-based use cases and FinTech business models.
  • discuss and critically reflect on current developments in crypto markets, DeFi, and FinTech.
  • present results of group work and analyses in a clear and structured manner.
