Cat bonds after Hurrican Milton - disaster or opportunity for investors?
Florian Steiger is a renowned expert in cat bonds and alternative investments. He is the founder of Icosa Investments, a leading investment company serving some of the most demanding investors worldwide. Florian began his career at Goldman Sachs and later worked for a hedge fund and various asset managers. Over the course of his career, he has managed cat bond portfolios totaling over USD 3 billion. One of the cat bond funds he managed was awarded the UCITS Award by the Hedge Fund Journal in 2019 as the best-performing ILS fund.
