Symposium at the University of Liechtenstein "The Future of Lifelong Learning"

Join us for an exciting Symposium at the University of Liechtenstein to explore with leading experts the current state of recognition of prior learning, open recognition, and micro-credentials in real-world settings and how they might shape the future of lifelong learning. The event is free of charge and will conclude with an apéro reception, offering attendees the chance to connect and continue conversations in an informal setting.

Speakers Line-Up
Serge Ravet: Serge is a founding member and President of Reconnaître-Open Recognition Alliance, a not-for profit association dedicated to promoting the goals of the Bologna Open Recognition Declaration. He spent most of his professional life exploring the contribution of digital technologies to the empowerment of individuals and communities and their impact on educational and social innovation.

Deb Carr: Bringing extensive international experience in TVET policy, quality assurance, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Deb specializes in driving impactful change in skills recognition. With a track record spanning UNESCO, government engagements, and ISO certifications, Deb has shaped policies and frameworks globally.

Patrick Werquin: Patrick is Professor at CNAM (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers - French Tertiary C-VET and Research Institution), Paris, and international independent consultant based in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze, France. He has been working and publishing, among others, on education and training policies, lifelong learning, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), national qualifications systems and frameworks (NQS and NQF), validation and recognition of nonformal and informal learning outcomes (RPL, RNFILO, VAE); in all OECD countries as well as in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Arab World, Europe and Southeast Asia.
