Die transformationale Führung gilt als besonders mächtige und idealisierte Form von Führung. Die transaktionale Führung fokussiert sich stärker auf Zielvereinbarungen und auf Austauschprozesse zwischen Führungskraft und Geführten. Eine besonders passive Form von Führung stellt die Laissez-Faire Führung dar, welche sehr negative Auswirkungen auf die Mitarbeitenden und die Organisation ausüben kann.

Architektur und gebauter Raum sind unumstösslicher Bestandteil fast aller Unternehmensprozesse. Produkte und Dienstleistungen werden in Gebäuden entwickelt, hergestellt und verkauft. Dennoch bleiben räumliche und architektonische Aspekte in der Managementpraxis und -lehre bisher weitgehend unberücksichtigt. Das Modul schliesst diese Lücke, indem es ein räumliches Organisationsverständnis präsentiert, das Architektur als Kommunikationsmittel ebenso in den Blick nimmt wie die Räumlichkeit von Kollaboration, Ko-Kreation, Produktentwicklung und Produktion. Dabei fokussiert das Seminar insbesondere auf Innovationsprozesse und kreative Arbeits- und Kollaborationsformen. Ausgehend von den eigenen Organisationen erarbeiten die Teilnehmenden Potenziale für räumliche Veränderungen zugunsten von neuen Kollaborations-, Innovations-, Distributions- und Vermarktungsformen. Zu diesem Zweck werden konzeptionelle Grundlagen ebenso präsentiert wie Beispiele aus der Unternehmenspraxis. Die Teilnehmenden diskutieren diese Inputs, evaluieren die vorgestellten Ansätze vor dem Hintergrund ihre bisherigen Erfahrungen und erarbeiten kreative Lösungsansätze und Umsetzungsstrategien für ihren beruflichen Alltag.

Practical project work

After completion of the module, the students have at their disposal practical experiences in handling a consulting project in the area of finance.

In the course of the assignment, they utilize a range of advanced procedures and techniques incorporated in the discipline and apply theoretical insights to practical solutions, so that they are directly prepared for their professional life.

Students develop original and creative answers for topics and problems and are able to evaluate the situation even without complete information.

They are able to reflect and enlarge their knowledge and capabilities. In addition, they master professional project assignment and presentation techniques and are trained to function in a team.

They are also able to assume responsibility within the team and to coordinate team assignments while taking into account the interest of the business.

The design studio engages students with architecture as a responsible practice on a variety of scales applying a multitude of design- and research methods, preparing them for the demands of the broad field of architecture and planning. Architectural and urban design is practiced in the context of projects of varying complexity, ranging from constructive building details and structures, to devising groups of structures and entire settlements and habitats. Design projects are represented in drawings, models, images, and by using all other available media. Teamwork is conducted with particular attention to the internal organization and workings of the teams.

Mit gezielten Strategien sozialer Kompetenz und vielfältigen Interventionsmethoden werden Situationen und Kommunikationsprozesse wirksam gestaltet und für ein ressourcenorientiertes Management nutzbar gemacht. Soft Skills gekonnt anwenden zu können, eröffnet neue berufliche und persönliche Perspektiven. Dazu gehört das selbstverantwortliche und erfolgreiche Handeln in unterschiedlichen Rollen und Settings sowie die selbstbewusste und überzeugende Kommunikation mit verschiedensten Menschen und Menschengruppen (Stakeholder). Die Fertigkeit vielfältige Interventionsmethoden effizient und kontextbezogen nutzen zu können, soll verbessert werden, letztlich mit der Zielsetzung kompetent mit Entwicklungs- und Veränderungsprozessen in Organisationen umgehen zu können.
