Your Guide to Professional Education at the University of Liechtenstein

Individual Working Options at the University of Liechtenstein

The campus offers a wide range of opportunities for focused and uninterrupted work. Whether you need to make business calls, prepare presentations, or study course materials – quiet spaces and designated work areas are available throughout the campus. These are ideal for productive sessions between classes or during breaks.

In addition to informal workspaces, available lecture halls can also be used as quiet study or work areas. A digital display at each room indicates whether it is currently unoccupied. If so, the space can be used flexibly for studying, working, or taking calls in a calm environment, free from distractions.

University Library – Specialist Knowledge for Studies, Professional Education and Research

The University of Liechtenstein Library supports teaching, research, and professional education with relevant academic literature and digital resources. While the library is open to the public, access to scientific databases and licensed e-resources is reserved exclusively for students in professional education programmes and academic staff.

Comprehensive IT Support for Your Studies

A wide range of digital services and IT support is available to ensure a smooth study experience. Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about login credentials, Wi-Fi access, payment systems, and other IT-related topics.

Where can I access my student ID and confirmation of enrolment?

Your personal student ID and current confirmation of enrolment are available digitally at any time. Both documents can be viewed and downloaded as PDFs via the intranet at my.uni.li.

The badge serves as an electronic key to the university building and is reserved exclusively for enrolled students of the University of Liechtenstein. Participants in short-format professional education programmes (e.g. seminars or workshops) do not receive a personal badge, as access is generally managed via main entrances or course organisers.

Badge Functions

In addition to building access according to individual permissions, the badge also enables:

– cashless payments at vending machines and in the cafeteria
– use of the “Follow Me Printing” system for printing, scanning, and copying

Validity and Renewal

For security reasons, badge access to interior rooms is limited to seven days. After this period, it must be revalidated at a designated badge reader. These are located:

– at the east and west entrances (sliding doors)
– to the right of the Selecta vending machines in the reception area

Building Access Times (with badge)

– Monday to Friday: 07:00–22:00
– Saturday: 07:00–18:00
Access outside these hours is only possible with a valid badge.

Facility Management will assist you with technical issues, badge replacement or reissuance.

Everything You Need to Know

Answers to key questions on registration, programme organisation, and the learning environment for all participants in professional education programmes.

A variety of dining options are available around the University of Liechtenstein campus. The university cafeteria offers daily changing menus, snacks, and beverages. It is located approximately five minutes on foot from the professional education site in Ebenholz. Opening hours and weekly menus are available online: see Cafeteria Overview.

At the Ebenholz location itself, coffee and drinks are available for purchase on site – ideal for short breaks between sessions.

The nearby Mühleholz Center also offers convenient food choices, including a Coop supermarket, several restaurants with international cuisine, and a McDonald’s located directly within the Ebenholz building – a practical complement for flexible meals during your professional education programme.

The University of Liechtenstein is easily accessible by both public transport and car. Due to limited parking availability on campus, we recommend arriving early or – if possible – using public transportation.
