A stay abroad offers the opportunity to broaden both academic and personal horizons. The wide range of mobility formats enables students in various life situations to gain international experience – for example, through a study semester, an internship abroad, as a free mover, via a summer school or through module-based or short-term mobility. The International Office is there to support and advise you throughout the process.

Nantes is a beautiful city in the northwest of France, also known as the “Land of the Loire.” It is close to both the ocean and Paris, which means it has the feel of a “small town” (with few tourists), even though both nature and the capital are within easy reach. I’m glad I was able to call Nantes my home for four months. The university is very international and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and great courses."

I consider my time in South Korea a very valuable experience in my life. I had the opportunity to live in a great country, attend an excellent university and form many international friendships. I look back on this time only with positive memories and would do it again without hesitation. It contributed not only to my academic development in a meaningful way but also greatly enriched my personal growth."

My semester in Rom was a great experience. The city is lively and full of culture. The university had a good range of courses and I was able to learn a lot. I also really enjoyed the food and life in Rome. It was a valuable time in which I met new people and improved my language skills. "

Studierende Universität Liechtenstein vor Tempel in Tokio
I had an unforgettable time in Japan, where I learned a lot not only academically but also about myself. Tokyo is a huge and fascinating city with so much to offer, from quiet temples to vibrant nightlife. The culture is very different from ours, but very pleasant to experience. I made friends from all over the world and memories, which will stay forever."
Vanessa, Tokyo
