The Bachelor’s degree in architecture opens up a range of opportunities – whether for further Master’s study or direct entry into a professional career.

Many graduates choose to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Liechtenstein or at another university in Liechtenstein or abroad to deepen their design, technical and theoretical knowledge.

A direct entry into the profession is also possible, for example in the following areas:

  • Architecture and planning offices
  • Urban development and spatial planning
  • Project development and real estate
  • Construction management and construction economics
  • Design, scenography and other fields of the creative industries

The region around Liechtenstein offers an ideal environment for this: a broad network of offices, high standards of building culture and space for new ideas.

For admission to the Bachelor’s degree programme in architecture at the University of Liechtenstein, a general university entrance qualification (Matura, Abitur) or an equivalent international qualification is required. Registration is completed online and is possible even before receiving the final certificate. Further information about deadlines and the application process can be found on the Application and Admission page.

The architecture programme at the University of Liechtenstein combines intensive design training with a rich cultural environment. The campus is located in the heart of the Alps, ideal for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors alongside their studies. Hiking, skiing or climbing are part of everyday life for many students.

At the same time, the region offers a high density of architecture-related events, exhibitions and excursions. Cities such as Zurich, Munich or Milan, important centres of the European architecture scene, can be reached in a short time.

There is also plenty happening on campus itself: public lectures, exhibition openings, workshops and student-organised events create a vibrant atmosphere and encourage exchange within the community.
