Create a user account in the online application tool using your personal email address. This will be our main point of contact with you throughout the entire admission process up to the start of your studies.
After completing your registration, you can begin filling out your application for admission. You may pause at any time and continue later — your entered data and uploaded documents will be saved and not lost.
Once you have provided all required information and uploaded all necessary documents, you can submit your application. Please note that submitted applications cannot be modified afterward.
If you have any questions in advance, feel free to contact the appropriate Student Advisory Service (see contact details below).
The University of Liechtenstein reserves the right to verify the authenticity of submitted documents directly with the issuing institution. Incomplete or low-quality translations may be rejected or reviewed by the university's internal services.
Next Steps After Submission
Your application will only be processed once the processing fee has been successfully received. Please make sure your payment has been completed.
After that, we will review your data and the documents you submitted. If we have any questions regarding your application, we will contact you by email.
Once your application is complete and has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirmation indicating whether you are pre-approved, admitted or unfortunately rejected for your chosen programme at the University of Liechtenstein.
If all required documents have been submitted, the admission requirements are met, and your application has been approved by the relevant programme director, you will receive a provisional offer of admission along with your first semester invoice.
By paying the tuition fee, you confirm acceptance of your place in the programme, and your spot will be secured. If the payment deadline is missed, the offer will expire and the place will be forfeited.
If you have not yet met all admission requirements at the time of application, but your documents indicate that you are likely to fulfil them before the start of your studies, you will also receive a provisional offer and the semester invoice.
Applicants who have been admitted to a programme will receive detailed information about the start of their studies, housing in Liechtenstein, arrival, and more.
As part of the Welcome Programme, you will be provided with all the essential information you need. The Student Services team and the Welcome Desk will be available to support you with any questions or concerns.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at: welcome@uni.li
By the first week of the semester at the latest (start of lectures), you must submit certified copies of your certificate, diploma, and other required documents to the Student Services Office responsible for your degree programme.
