Registration, Application and Admission

Learn the difference between registration and application, and find out which requirements you need to meet to be admitted to your chosen programme.

No Admission Procedure Required for Short-Format Programmes

Short professional education formats such as intensive courses, seminars, workshops, events, and conferences do not require a separate admission process. You can register directly online using the registration form and easily benefit from our professional education offerings.

Applicants may be admitted to a programme if they meet the requirements outlined below and submit all necessary documents (as specified in the application form) within the stated deadline. Admission is granted in the order in which complete applications are received.

The application process begins with the submission of the application form. Early application is strongly recommended.

The final admission decision is made by the programme director based on a review of the application documents submitted on time and in full.

Admission Requirements for Master’s Programmes (MBA, LL.M.) and Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS)

To be admitted to a professional Master's programme (such as an MBA or LL.M.) or a CAS programme, applicants generally need to hold a university degree or an equivalent qualification.

Alternatively, admission is possible for applicants who have completed a tertiary education and/or professional education programme comprising at least 60 ECTS credits, along with six years of professional experience – of which at least three years must be in a field relevant to the chosen programme.

Admission Requirements for Diploma and Certificate Programmes

Diploma and certificate programmes offer compact, practice-oriented professional education. While a university degree or comparable qualification is generally recommended, these programmes are also open to applicants with a secondary school-leaving qualification (e.g. Matura or vocational Matura) and relevant professional experience, as well as graduates of subject-specific vocational training programmes.

Admission "sur dossier"

If you do not hold a university degree or do not fully meet the formal admission requirements for a given programme, you may still be eligible for admission "sur dossier", depending on the programme. This typically requires a relevant professional background (six years of work experience, including three years in a related field). Where necessary, your academic aptitude will be assessed individually as part of the admissions process.

Capacity and Deadlines

Each programme has a limited number of places. Admissions are granted on a rolling basis, subject to availability. Please make sure to observe the specific application deadlines and dates published for each programme.
