At the University of Liechtenstein, students with health-related impairments are given fair opportunities in examinations. Compensation for disadvantages is designed to offset individual limitations without conferring an unfair advantage. Each measure is carefully reviewed and individually adapted to the specific situation.
The application for compensation must be submitted to the executive directors no later than the registration deadline for examinations and must include all required supporting documents, such as a medical certificate. These documents should clearly describe the impact of the impairment to enable an appropriate decision.
Possible measures include extended writing time, changes to the examination format, the use of assistive tools, or taking the exam in a separate room. These accommodations are free of charge for students.
For more detailed information on compensation for disadvantages, please contact your executive directors. The legal basis can be found in Article 36, paragraph 2 of the Student Regulations.
