Project Description
Construction Cultures covers and compares specific building cultures around the world. It includes the development of building forms and building types against an architectural, cultural-geographical and socio-political background. It defines parameters forming a building culture, provides a historical overview and identifies definitions
of construction cultures and their role in contributing to the formation of identities.
Teaching Method
The seminar involves interactive lectures with exercises to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical design and analysis skills.

Minimum 75% compulsory attendance and continuous assessment.
The final grade is calculated according to the weighting of the following components: final submission (60%), seminar exercises (20%) and oral presentation (20%).
