EntreCivil: Entrepreneurial competences for the development of civil society aid networks using the example of refugee women from Ukraine
Project Description
The present project aims to support refugee women from Ukraine in exploring and developing their entrepreneurial skills, while accompanying them on their journey to establish and expand their own civil society support networks. By providing a comprehensive toolkit, the project encourages participants to unlock their potential and foster independent action in their respective countries. Promoting entrepreneurship among refugee women is a powerful approach that can not only improve individual lives but also bring about lasting changes in the economic fabric of host countries.
The project's target group comprises aid networks and associations. We plan to support these organizations by providing targeted training in entrepreneurial skills both in the host country (e.g., Liechtenstein) and in Ukraine as part of rebuilding and reintegration efforts. A central question of the project is how entrepreneurial skills can empower volunteer work and self-help initiatives, especially in countries with weaker institutional structures. Through targeted measures, we aim to strengthen self-confidence and self-reliance among participants. Our focus is on training multipliers - both locally and in Ukraine - to disseminate these competencies within associations and networks.
