Admission Requirements for Bachelor’s Degree Programmes

Admission Criteria

Recognised School-Leaving Certificates

• General higher education entrance certificate (Matura, Abitur), or
• Subject-specific higher education entrance certificate, or
• Vocational Matura (Liechtenstein, Austria), or
• Vocational Matura with Passerelle Examination (Switzerland), or
• Equivalent international school-leaving certificate

Language Requirements

• German:
  Applicants with a non-German school-leaving certificate or whose native language is not German must provide proof of German proficiency at level C1.

   

  The following certificates are accepted as proof of German language proficiency: 

      Goethe-Institut

  • Goethe-Zertifikat C1
  • Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (ZOP)
  • Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom (KDS)

  • Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom (GDS)

    
    Kultusministerkonferenz KMK

  • Deutsches Sprachdiplom - Stufe II

    
    Zertifizierte Schulen und Bildungseinrichtungen Deutschland

  • Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH)
  • Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (Test DaF; mit einem Ergebnis von durchschnittlich TDN 4 und mindestens TDN 3 in allen Prüfungsteilen)
  • telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule
    
    Zertifizierte Schulen und Bildungseinrichtungen Österreich
  • Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD) Mittelstufe Deutsch (Niveau C1)
  • Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD) Wirtschaftssprache Deutsch (Niveau C2)

• English:
  Only required for the BSc in Business Administration:
  Level equivalent to Matura (secondary school leaving examination)

Required Documents for Application

• Final school-leaving certificate and, if applicable, language certificate as outlined above
• Copy of passport
• Passport photo (frontal view, high quality and well lit)

Important Note
If your final school-leaving certificate is not yet available at the time of application, please submit your most recent mid-year or end-of-term report. We can begin processing your application based on this document. Once you meet the admission requirements, you will receive a provisional offer of admission.
