Free Mover

Do you want to organise your semester abroad independently of the University of Liechtenstein’s exchange programmes?

As a so-called free mover, you choose and organise your study stay at a university of your choice on your own. This usually involves paying tuition fees, which can be significantly higher than those of an exchange programme, depending on the country and programme.

Upon request, you may be exempted from paying tuition fees at the University of Liechtenstein for the duration of your stay abroad.

A free mover semester can – just like an Erasmus+ stay – be recognised as part of your studies. It is important to coordinate your planned courses in advance with the relevant programme managers.
