Note

Graduates can undertake an internship abroad within one year after completing their degree. However, they must apply for the internship while still enrolled. The internship can help facilitate entry into professional life.

  • Timely Submission of Documents
  • For internships abroad that are a mandatory part of your degree programme, please clarify the procedure directly with your respective programme administration.
  • Minimum duration: two full months. The maximum duration of your funding also depends on how many Erasmus+ mobility months you still have available. You are entitled to a maximum of 12 months per study cycle (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate). Stays are calculated on a daily basis.

My name is Juan, I’m from Colombia, and I had the amazing opportunity to complete a nine-month internship in Hamburg. During this time, I was able to immerse myself in the working environment of an architecture firm, gain valuable professional experience, and at the same time make many new friends. Thanks to the Erasmus grant, I was able to live in a lovely part of Hamburg, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I’m grateful for this unique opportunity and can highly recommend such an adventure to everyone!"
