The aim of this seminar is to strengthen communication and presentation techniques. Through interviews, students will develop diverse content, which will be documented and presented using various applied exercises and methods as well as project representations.

The seminar includes interactive exercises to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical design, presentation and analytical skills. Case studies and projects are used to discuss seminar content and train students in the use of the methods and techniques covered.

Im Modul werden das physikalische Wissen und technische Planen zielführend auf eine gesunde und nachhaltige Bauweise ausgerichtet. Es werden nachhaltige Konzepte in der disziplinären Vernetzung zwischen Bauphysik und Haustechnik vermittelt, analysiert und bewertet. Es wird das Verständnis für klimafreundliche Gebäudestrategien in der komplexen Verknüpfung von Bauphysik und Haustechnik entwickelt. Sämtliche Haustechnikkomponenten wie Heizung, Kühlung, Lüftung, Sanitär und Elektro werden in ihrer Entstehung und Wirkung analysiert und mit der physikalischen
Effizienz der Gebäudehülle in Einklang gebracht sowie deren gesundheitliche Auswirkungen auf Nutzende vermittelt.

Die Lernergebnisse und zu erwerbenden Kompetenzen dieses Moduls ergeben sich aus den nachfolgend beschriebenen

Die Abschlussnote wird errechnet aus den Noten der beiden Lehrveranstaltungen mit einer Gewichtung von jeweils 50%. Ein erfolgreicher Abschluss setzt zudem voraus, dass in beiden Lehrveranstaltungen jeweils mindestens die Note 4.0 erreicht wurde. Modalität siehe Lehrveranstaltung.

This optional module allows for various kinds of research studies. It is closely connected to the five units of the Liechtenstein School of Architecture and is usually part of ongoing research projects. The supervision consists of directing the students towards clear results within a given field of research. The individual study is reviewed within the respective unit.

Asset pricing is the process of determining the fair value of financial assets. It involves using various financial theories and models to estimate the price of these assets based on factors like time discounting, future cash flows, interest rates, and risk. By analysing historical data, empirical asset pricing seeks to validate or refine theories about how prices are set, how risks are compensated, and how various factors influence asset prices. Ultimately, it aims to enhance our understanding of financial markets and improve investment strategies.

• The purpose of this course is twofold: First, invited talks by researchers from other institutions (and, occasionally, from the University of Liechtenstein) bring students in touch with cutting-edge research in their field. Second, students learn how to give an academic presentation of one of their research papers. Students will receive feedback on their performance. Our goal is to provide research colloquia for all specializations, but the course may not be offered for all specializations in each academic year. Students from two specializations may be gathered into one colloquium for organizational reasons. Finance Research Seminar

Im Rahmen eines Praktikums, welches mind. 300 Stunden (6 ECTS) dauert, wenden die Studierenden ihre BWL-Kenntnisse aus dem Studium an und reflektieren die Erfahrungen.

Im Rahmen einer initialen Praktikumsbeschreibung werden die Lernziele formuliert. Die Fähigkeit zum Transfer von Kompetenzen zwischen Studium und Praxis wird durch das Praktikum verbessert.

Studierende haben die Möglichkeit, bei Fragen während des Praktikums ein Coaching durch die Modulleitung in Anspruch zu nehmen. Hierfür vereinbaren Sie bitte direkt einen Termin.

Die Zulassung zum Wahlmodul "Praktikum" wird durch die Studienleitung anhand des eingerichten Berichts " Ausgangslage" geprüft. Dieser ist spätestens einen Monat vor Beginn des Praktikums in Moodle hochzuladen. Inhalt, Umfang, Anspruch und Bezug zu studienrelevanten Themen werden anhand dieses Berichts geprüft. Die Genehmigung des Praktikums erfolgt im System via my.uni.li.

Voraussetzung für die Zulassung zum Wahlmodul Praktikum (300 Stunden) ist, dass nicht bereits in einem früheren Semester ein Wahlmodul Praktikum belegt wurde. Die gleichzeitige Belegung des Wahlmoduls (150 Stunden) ist ebenfalls ausgeschlossen. Eine Wiederholung des Wahlmoduls ist unabhängig vom Grund des nicht erfolgreichen Absolvierens bei erstmaliger Belegung nicht möglich. Dies gilt auch dann, wenn das Praktikum nicht angetreten, nicht in vollem Umfang absolviert oder der Abschlussbericht nicht rechtzeitig eingereicht wurde. Falls eine Ausgangslage durch die Modulleitung abgelehnt wird, kann eine neue oder eine überarbeitete Ausgangslage erneut eingereicht werden.

1. Schritliche Ausarbeitung der Ausgangslage und der Zielsetzungen:
Klarheit der Zielsetzungen, Bezug zu Themen des Curriculums. Unternehmensbeschreibung. Was wird vom Praktikum erwartet? Mindestumfang 3-4 Seiten Text, muss zur Genehmigung vorliegen (min. 1 Monat vor Praktikumsbeginn)

2. Abschlussbericht:
Reflektion der Praktikumstätigkeiten vor dem Hintergrund der Studieninhalte (Transfer von Theorien/Modellen in die Praxis). Mindestumfang 5 Seiten Text.

Die Studierenden erhalten durch die Erarbeitung eines Pro Bono Projektes einen vertieften Einblick in die drei massgeblichen Bereiche der beruflichen Tätigkeit von Konzeptphase, Ausführungsphase und Reflexionsphase. Sie verbinden damit ihre theoretischen Studien an der Universität - dem Stand ihrer Ausbildung entsprechend - mit praxisrelevanter Arbeit und erzeugen gleichzeitig gesellschaftlichen Nutzen.
