Student Mobility
Erasmus+ In the field of higher education, Erasmus+ supports physical and blended mobility for students across all fields of study and levels (short-cycle programmes, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as doctoral studies). Students can study at a partner university abroad. In addition, they have the opportunity to combine a study abroad period with an internship to deepen their learning outcomes and gain additional skills.
With the current Erasmus+ programme generation, stays at selected universities outside Europe can also be supported.

Internship Abroad
Traineeships supported by Erasmus+ are a key part of the programme and, in the new programme generation, include a uniformly defined top-up.
Students can complete an internship abroad in a company, research institution, laboratory, organisation or other relevant workplace. This applies to all levels of study, as well as to recent graduates, including research assistant placements.
Graduates can also undertake a traineeship abroad within one year of graduation, but applications must be submitted while still enrolled. The aim is to facilitate the transition into professional life.
