Project Description
Im Rahmen eines Praktikums, welches mind. 300 Stunden (6 ECTS) dauert, wenden die Studierenden ihre BWL-Kenntnisse aus dem Studium an und reflektieren die Erfahrungen.
Im Rahmen einer initialen Praktikumsbeschreibung werden die Lernziele formuliert. Die Fähigkeit zum Transfer von Kompetenzen zwischen Studium und Praxis wird durch das Praktikum verbessert.
Studierende haben die Möglichkeit, bei Fragen während des Praktikums ein Coaching durch die Modulleitung in Anspruch zu nehmen. Hierfür vereinbaren Sie bitte direkt einen Termin.

Requirements (formal)
Die Zulassung zum Wahlmodul "Praktikum" wird durch die Studienleitung anhand des eingerichten Berichts " Ausgangslage" geprüft. Dieser ist spätestens einen Monat vor Beginn des Praktikums in Moodle hochzuladen. Inhalt, Umfang, Anspruch und Bezug zu studienrelevanten Themen werden anhand dieses Berichts geprüft. Die Genehmigung des Praktikums erfolgt im System via my.uni.li.
Voraussetzung für die Zulassung zum Wahlmodul Praktikum (300 Stunden) ist, dass nicht bereits in einem früheren Semester ein Wahlmodul Praktikum belegt wurde. Die gleichzeitige Belegung des Wahlmoduls (150 Stunden) ist ebenfalls ausgeschlossen. Eine Wiederholung des Wahlmoduls ist unabhängig vom Grund des nicht erfolgreichen Absolvierens bei erstmaliger Belegung nicht möglich. Dies gilt auch dann, wenn das Praktikum nicht angetreten, nicht in vollem Umfang absolviert oder der Abschlussbericht nicht rechtzeitig eingereicht wurde. Falls eine Ausgangslage durch die Modulleitung abgelehnt wird, kann eine neue oder eine überarbeitete Ausgangslage erneut eingereicht werden.

- Bei Interesse melden Sie sich bitte im System an und laden Sie die oben dargestellte Ausarbeitung der Ausgangslage in Moodle hoch. Die Ausarbeitung der Ausgangslage muss einen Monat vor Beginn des Praktikums abgegeben werden. Das Modul Praktikum wird als programmnahes Wahlfach angerechnet. Programmnahe Wahlfächer können nur in begrenztem Umfang angerechnet werden. Bitte konsultieren Sie das Curriculum für Details und Abgrenzung zu FÜWs.
Bei erfüllten Förderkriterien ist ein Erasmus-Stipendium für Auslandspraktika erhältlich (International Office).

Advanced ISD project is a course wherein students must put their pre-acquired knowledge (in the Information Systems Development and Web-based Information Systems) into practice. After providing a brief introduction on some web frameworks and on API, students are meant to work in groups to develop a Web-based Information System.
Teaching Method
• Two lectures at the beginning of the course will cover some basic concepts of Web development (in Py-thon)
• Most of the work is meant to be done by groups of 2-5 students

Vernacular Architecture introduces the traditional typologies of housing, agriculture, crafts and trade around the globe. Adapted to climate, natural resources and cultural conditions, these vanishing building cultures offer truly sustainable clues to our crucial question: How to build and how to live sustainably again? The seminar explores projects to understand the complex simplicity of buildings made from purely natural materials.

The module involves interactive lectures with exercises to integrate theoretical knowledge with critical analysis skills. Case studies are used to discuss the course contents. Recent scientific publications from Sustainable Design and vernacular architecture are examined in class.

Project Description
The sustainable operation within a complex architectural or urban environment is critically analysed and applied. The Bachelor’s Thesis students take part in one of the Advanced Studios within the Bachelor´s degree programme. The thesis includes a developed hypothesis which is verified (or falsified) within the context of a design project.
Teaching Method
Guided project work in the design studio. A seminar week focussing on the studio topic is an integral part of the design studio.

The Bachelor's Thesis comprises the design and production of the Bachelor's thesis book, in which the entire research and design process of the design project is documented. Project Description
This elective course addresses the most sustainable concept of our economic activity: the non-production of new things. It focuses on the urgency and rediscovery of a culture of care, repair, reparability and upcycling to critically question the way we design, build and use our constructed environment. It combines methods from restoration and conservation with new ideas from a growing repair community. Using broken objects, each student will first identify, analyse and discuss the defect(s). After developing a repair concept, a complete restoration is to be realised under professional guidance. The aim is to come up with a coherent and consistent repair solution which, in the best case, will result in a technical and/or design improvement to the object.
Teaching Method
The seminar combines input lectures with an exercise to make theoretical lessons usable for practical design solutions.
