Project Description
This course looks at a wide range of social topics, including group behavior, social perception, leadership, nonverbal behavior, conformity, aggression, decision making, prejudice, and factors that promote health and well-being.
Our focus will be on surprising, entertaining, and intriguing concepts and research findings that are useful and applicable in our daily lives.
Exercises and assignments in class and in home study will encourage you to experiment with your life, observe the results, and analyze what took place.

Note on Social Psychology:
Amongst many others, here are just a few of the questions to be examined in the field of social psychology: What shapes our attitudes? Why are some people such great leaders? What leads us to like one person and dislike another? How do conflicts and prejudices develop, and how can they be reduced?

Project Description
Die Universität Liechtenstein transportiert immer wieder folgende Botschaften:

  • Rolle der Dozierenden als Moderatoren des Wissenserwerbs

Die Ist-Situation zeigt sich mitunter anders:
  • Seminarräume, die starr auf Wissensvermittlung ausgelegt sind. Vorne ist vorne.
  • Im Seminarraum dominiert das Pult des Dozierenden samt PC und Zugang zum Beamer das Geschehen. Vorne ist vorne. Der Abstand zwischen Dozierendem und Studierenden ist klar definiert.
  • Die Studierenden bringen sich nur sehr zurückhaltend in das Geschehen ein und verschanzen sich hinter den Tischen. Sie warten auf die richtige Antwort von vorne.

Aufgabenstellung in diesem Modul ist es, den S5 zu einer lernfördernden Umgebung umzugestalten. Dazu beschäftigen sich die Studierenden mit folgenden Themen:
> Lernen, Lerntheorien und lernförderliche Umgebungen als Basis der Überlegungen, um zu verstehen wie Lernen ermöglicht werden kann.
> Erhebung von Erwartungen und Bedürfnisse der Dozierenden und Studierenden
> Entwicklung von Vorentwürfen für einen umgestalteten S5
> Präsentation und Verteidigung der Vorentwürfe
> Zusammenführen der verschiedenen Ideen aus den Vorentwürfen zu einem gemeinsamen Projekt
> Ausgestaltung sowie abschliessende Realisierung der Konzepte
> Einwerben von Sponsorgeldern / Aufbau einer Patenschaft zur Finanzierung der Umgestaltung.
> Gestaltung eines blogs aus dem der Entwicklungsfortschritt erkennbar wird.

Die Umsetzung erfolgt in Teams von 6 Personen, wobei jedes Team aus 3 Studierenden der AR und 3 Studierenden der BW besteht.

Die Teams müssen sich nach der Anmeldung selbst formieren und sich in der ersten Semesterwoche als Teams präsentieren.

Learning Objectives
After completion of the module, the students have at their command in-depth knowledge in the area of Corporate Governance. They are able to illustrate diverse enticement scenarios and thus are able to explain the actions of various actors. Furthermore, they can identify the occurrence of conflicts of interest and integrate various leadership styles in their dealings and are knowledgeable concerning the management of employees and business development.

They are able to infer from them the resulting institutions, guidelines and laws and to integrate them into the parameters of financial service undertakings. In addition, they are familiar with the distinct potential for conflict of interest in investment management, but they understand the ethical and professional demands on a professional investor with respect to customers and employers.
