Identifikation eines Forschungsproblems und Entwicklung einer Forschungsfrage

Problemstellung thematisch formulieren und anhand der wissenschaftlichen Methodik des Faches eine Problemlösung entwickeln.

Eigenständigkeit in der Bearbeitung eines Forschungsproblems, die im Rahmen einer Standortbestimmung nachgewiesen wird. Diskussion mit dem Betreuer über methodische und inhaltliche Fragen zur Lösung der Forschungsfrage.

Erstellung einer umfangreichen Hausarbeit, in der sich die Studierenden mit einem praxisorientierten Problem ihrer Fachrichtung durch Zuhilfenahme von wissenschaftlichen Arbeitsmethoden auseinandersetzen.

Erstellung von Präsentationsunterlagen zu einer Forschungsfrage des Fachgebietes

Nach Abschluss des Moduls haben die Studierenden ein spezielles Wissen in dem Bereich der Finanzdienstleistungen erlangt, indem sie sich vertieft mit besonderen Fragestelllung innerhalb ihrer Bachelor-Thesis beschäftigt haben. Die Kenntnisse im Bereich ihrer speziellen Inhalte sind sehr detailliert und durch die aktuellsten Entwicklungen untermauert. Sie haben mit Unternehmen Kontakt aufgenommen und eine praxisbezogene Problemstellung wissenschaftlich untersucht, wobei sie auf ihre zuvor erlangten Fertigkeiten zurückgegriffen haben. Des Weiteren präsentieren sie wesentliche Ergebnisse ihrer Arbeit vor Spezialisten sowie vor Laien und setzen dabei verschiedene Kommunikationsmethoden an, um die komplexen Sachverhalte angemessen zu veranschaulichen.

  • Das Modul verweist auf die enge Verflechtung personalwirtschaftlicher, organisatorischer und organisationspsychologischer Managementherausforderungen.

  • Die Lehrveranstaltung ¿Verhalten in Organisationen' setzt auf der Ebene des Individuums auf und stellt die Wechselwirkung zwischen den Ebenen Individuum, Gruppe und Organisation in den Vordergrund. Besondere Berücksichtigung findet die Systematisierung von organisationspsychologischem Wissen sowie das eigene Erleben und der Anwendungszusammenhang in die Praxis.

After completion of the module, the students recognise the state-of-the-art pertaining to the economic and business-management aspects of the banking and insurance business.
They understand a range of economic explanations on the existence of banks and insurance companies. They realise the necessity of bank regulation and understand the distinct business-management features of banks and insurance companies. They have at their command special knowledge of the development of the banking system and the current methods and modes of operation in daily bank and insurance business.
In addition, the students apply theoretical models on bank theory, on overall bank regulation and insurance business operations in order to argue within a scientific environment as well as to be able to apply these models in a practical context.

The learning outcome of the course is:
" Describing the distinct features of the banking and insurance systems in Liechtenstein, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
" Explaining the responsibilities of banks and insurance companies.
" Justifying and scrutinising the existence of banks
" Juxtaposing models on financial intermediation
" Demonstrating the necessity of bank regulation

Der Studierende lernt verschiedene Ansätze kennen und diese einzuordnen und zu beurteilen. Der Studierende kann die die behandelten Themen im Gesamtkontext (Unternehmen - Wirtschaft) betrachten und bewerten.

¿International Management¿ is the first course in the major ¿International Management¿. Therefore, it provides the conceptual framework and lays the theoretical foundation. It is designed to support students and managers in developing the necessary skills to create and implement global strategies, to conduct effective cross-cultural interactions and to manage daily operations in foreign subsidiaries. The success of international operations depends mainly on the international manager¿s ability and skills to carry out the company¿s strategy within the context of the host country¿s business practices and environment. The skills needed to manage international activities are crucial for the success of any global operation. Thus, this course will provide the international manager with the necessary tools at operational, interpersonal, and strategic level.

In addition a seminar deals with special, selected topics about "International Financial Services".
