The bachelor’s degree programme in business administration at the University of Liechtenstein is designed for six semesters and comprises 180 ECTS credits. The programme structure combines practical training with research-driven content and gives you the opportunity to choose between different specialisations: International Financial Services, International Management and Entrepreneurship, and Information Management and Technology. The programme is taught mainly in German. Some of the advanced courses are offered in English.

The bachelor’s degree programme in Business Administration at the University of Liechtenstein offers you three specialised fields of study, which are taught almost entirely in English.

International Financial Services (IFS)

The specialisation in International Financial Services focuses on the complex world of internationally operating financial service providers. You will analyse relationships within the financial environment and apply your knowledge to discipline-specific issues.

This specialisation prepares you for careers in banks, insurance companies, asset management firms, and in the development of innovative financial products.

International Management and Entrepreneurship (IME)

In this specialisation, you will analyse the key factors of the international environment that influence various management functions and design these independently. The focus is on international management combined with entrepreneurial thinking.

This specialisation qualifies you for leadership positions in internationally active companies, for founding your own business, or for working in growth- and export-oriented companies as well as in international consulting firms.

Information Management and Information Technology (IMIT)

The IMIT specialisation lies at the interface between business administration and information technology. You will analyse the impact of information technology on organisational design and develop IT applications for companies and end consumers.

This specialisation prepares you for careers as an IT manager, business analyst, or specialist in the digital transformation of companies.

With a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Liechtenstein, you will have a wide range of career opportunities. You will be well prepared for a career in national and international companies, particularly in the areas of financial services, management, consulting and information technology. The practical training and international orientation of the programme also open up opportunities to work in start-ups, international management or IT management. You will also be well positioned to pursue self-employment or take on leadership roles.

To secure a place in the bachelor’s degree programme in business administration at the University of Liechtenstein, you need to provide proof of a general university entrance qualification (Matura, Abitur) or an equivalent international qualification. Applicants whose native language is not German or who do not hold a secondary school diploma taught in German must provide proof of German language skills at level C1. In addition, English language skills at level B2 are required. Registration is completed online, and you can apply even before you receive your final certificate.
